Main macroeconomic indicators in Romania, including COVID-19 impact 2019-2020

Apart from construction works, all main economic indicators recorded their lowest values as of April 2020 because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic in Romania. The households' consumption index dropped from 10.7 percent in February to -51.2 percent in April. The lowest drop was recorded for the services provided to the population which went from 9.8 percent to -78.1 percent in May 2020.
