Perceived impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) among Italian companies 2020, by region
In a survey from March 2020, 77.6 percent of companies located in the Italian region of Lazio perceived that the Coronavirus outbreak had an impact on the their business. Moreover, the share was equal to 70.9 percent among companies in Veneto, one of the most affected regions in Italy. The figures might be very different from region to region as the number of cases of coronavirus are higher in the northern regions of the country. Furthermore, the companies interviewed in this survey were mostly situated in North Italy.
