Agriculture sector's growth rate of value added to GDP in South Africa 2016-2023
In 2023, the value added by agriculture, forestry, and fishing to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in South Africa decreased by 12.2 percent from the previous year, indictaing the biggest drop in value in the years observed. During the period under review, the indicator fluctuated, peaking in 2017 at 19.1 percent year-on-year growth.
