Share of people with blood pressure issues India 2020, by body mass index
As per the results of a large scale survey conducted across India in 2020, about 24 percent of the severely obese respondents had high or low blood pressure issues. There was a rising trend in lifestyle diseases like diabetes, thyroid and blood pressure across the country when compared to the previous years of the survey.
