
Share of individuals monitoring their blood pressure 2008-2020
Between 2008 and 2020, the share of individuals monitoring their blood pressure in Italy decreased overall. In 2008, 84.2 percent of adults in the country checked their blood pressure in the previous two years. By 2020, this figure reached 81.3 percent. The lowest figure was recorded in 2017, when 81 percent of individuals between 18 and 69 years of age monitored their blood pressure.
