Public opinion on showing the confederate flag at NASCAR in the U.S. 2020
The Confederate battle flag has been commonly seen at NASCAR races for more than 70 years. During a survey in the United States in June 2020, opinion on whether the flag should be allowed at NASCAR facilities and events was divided among sports fans. Some 33 percent stated that they believed the flag should be banned, while 34 percent stated that the flag should be allowed.
