Responses to parental attitudes toward childhood vaccines Chennai India 2019
In 2019, according to a vaccine hesitancy survey carried out in Chennai, India, 45 percent of the respondents strongly agreed with the statement "getting vaccines is a good way to protect my child from illness" versus four percent who neither agreed nor disagreed. By contrast, 4.7 percent of the respondents strongly agreed with the statement "having my child vaccinated is important for the health of others in the community" versus zero percent who strongly disagreed with it.
