Share of Shanghai's imports and exports in China's total trade 2012-2022
In 2022, the share of import and export value of goods in Shanghai's customs area amounted to 18.1 and 24 percent, respectively, of China's total international trade. Shanghai's share in China's import trade decreased, while its share in the export trade grew in 2021.
