On any given day during the fiscal year of 2018/19, there was an average of 40,097 open court cases at adult criminal courts in Alberta, Canada. This is lower than the average caseload of 41,638 in the previous year, but higher than the 32,169 average daily cases during the fiscal year of 2008/09.
