In 2020, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the French government implemented a lockdown that lasted from March 17 to May 11. During that period, many people had to work remotely to prevent the spread of the virus. In April 2020, 41 percent of executives declared their wish to telework in the future had increased with the confinement period.
