Due to the global coronavirus pandemic in 2020, many employees were forced to begin working from home.
In a May 2020 survey, 35 percent of participants from the Baby Boomer generation said that the decrease in social interactions was the most detrimental part of working from home during the pandemic. The majority of the younger Millennial and Gen Z generations found the increase in distractions to be the worst part of working from home.
