Immigrants from the Nordic countries had the highest employment rate among all immigrants to Norway in 2019, reaching 79.5 percent. The second highest rate occurred among immigrants from Eastern European countries, which were members of the European Union, followed by immigrants from Western European countries. With an employment rate of 54 percent, immigrants from Africa had the lowest employment rate in Norway the same year.
