In Norway, the share of the students graduating from higher education who had an immigrant background increased annually. In the academic year 2021/22, 12 percent of the graduates were immigrants, and four were Norwegian-born to immigrant parents. This was a increase of more than two percentage points among both groups since 2012/13. During the same period, Norway's foreign population increased annually.
