Share of students graduating in higher education in Norway 2011-2021, by background
In Norway, the share of the students graduating from higher education who had an immigrant background increased annually. In the academic year 2020/21, 12 percent of the graduates were immigrants, and 3.7 were Norwegian-born to immigrant parents. This was a increase of more than two percentage points among both groups since 2011/12. During the same period, Norway's foreign population increased annually.
