International tourism receipts in the Bahamas 2010-2021, by category
The Bahamas' international tourism expenditures increased by 140 percent in 2021 to over two billion U.S. dollars, according to the UNWTO. While there was a marked improvement in outbound tourists' expenditure on travel in 2021, the country was not able to completely recover international tourist receipts to reach pre-pandemic levels that year.
