In July 2022, approximately 4.2 thousand coronavirus (COVID-19) patients died in Russia, while the disease was the primary cause of death for nearly 2.3 thousand. Over the observed period, the number of deaths of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in Russia peaked in November 2021.
