CIPA: interchangeable lens monthly shipments worldwide 2020

Shipment of the interchangeable lens usually peaks between the first and the second quarter of the year, followed by another peak at the beginning of the fourth quarter. The year 2020 saw a steep drop in shipments with the lowest figures in shipment history. Coupled with pandemic (COVID-19) effects on the industry, only over 348 thousand units shipped in May.
