Industrial machinery manufacturing is a well-established market in Germany since the second industrial revolution. In 2019, DMG Mori, Grob Group, and Heller Group were the top three machine manufacturing firms in Germany by revenue. In that same year, DMG Mori generated over 1.4 billion euros from its machine tool sales.
