Machine tools production in Germany 2015-2021

During the last five years, the total production value of machine tools in Germany somewhat continuously increased until the coronavirus pandemic hit. In 2020, machine tools production in Germany generated only 8.8 billion euros. A year after, the production value increased by two percent and reached just under nine billion euros. However, this figure was still significantly below the pre-pandemic value of over 12.6 billion euros.
