LEDs cost around 0.7 U.S. dollars per kilolumen in 2017 and are forecast to keep getting cheaper in the coming decades. In 2020, their price should drop to some 0.4 U.S. dollars per kilolumen and in 2050 it should drop further to around 0.3 U.S. dollars per kilolumen.
