Net income of Signify (Philips Lighting) 2015-2018 The statistic illustrates the net income of Signify (Philips Lighting) from 2015 to 2018 (in million euros). Signify, before May 2018 officially known as Philips Lighting, was Philips' light division. Philips, now active in medical equipment, and Philips Lighting split up in 2016 and are now separate companies, each with their own IPO. Signify, however, is allowed to use the brand name "Philips" for their products up until 2030.
Net income fluctuated over the three year period, falling from 240 million euros in 2015 to below 200 million the following year. In 2017 and 2018 net income increased again, whereas the net income of 2016 was the lowest recorded over the four year period, that of 2017 was the highest at roughly 280 million euros.
