Car was the means of locomotion the most implicated in accidents with cyclists in France in 2019. 64 percent of cyclists were indeed killed or wounded in accidents with cars. Such a figure could explain why cyclists seem to judge the respectfulness of automobile drivers negatively. Twelve percent of cyclists also had an accident with another cyclist in France in 2019.
