Change of future plans for upper secondary students due to COVID-19 2020

According to a survey from 2020, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has brought about several changes for the future plans of upper secondary students. The most pressing issue was uncertainty in relation to traveling, folk school, and similar plans for the gap year, expressed by 307 respondents. Also, a fear of either getting or losing jobs was highlighted by 156 of the students. In Denmark, taking a gap year of one or two years is the most common thing for senior students in upper secondary school after graduating.
