In 2018, Denmark reported 47.3 deaths per 100,000 population from prostate cancer, the highest mortality rate in Europe. Norway followed with 43 prostate cancer deaths per 100,000, and then Croatia with a rate of 42.7 prostate cancer deaths. On the other hand, there were 18.9 deaths per 100,000 in Luxembourg as a result of prostate cancer.
