
Share of U.S. children vaccinated against influenza in 2019, by urbanization and age
In 2019, around 65 percent of U.S. children aged 6 months to 4 years in large central metropolises were vaccinated against influenza, compared to only around 52 percent of U.S. children in the same age group in nonmetropolitan areas. This statistic shows the percentage of children in the U.S. aged 6 months to 17 years who had an influenza vaccination in the past year in 2019, by urbanization level and age.
