Net imports of electricity in Libya 2014-2019
Libya's net imports of electricity corresponded to 412 gigawatt-hours in 2019, which was the highest amount since 2014. In 2015, the net imports amounted to zero, meaning that the exports of electricity equaled the imports in that period. Since 2016, Libya's net imports of electrical energy started to increase slightly and remained stable at 376 gigawatt-hours in 2016 and 2017.
