Number of people facing food insecurity in Tanzania 2021-2022
As of May 2022, 5.3 million people in Tanzania lacked sufficient food for consumption. That corresponded to 9.4 percent of the country's population. Compared to the previous month, the number of inhabitants in food insecurity kept stable.
