The FIFA World Cup is an international association soccer competition held every four years, and the 2022 World Cup is scheduled to be held in Qatar. During an April 2021 survey in the UK, a majority of respondents across all age groups stated that they did not really support calls to boycott the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, including 46 percent of respondents over 65.
