The statistic shows the percentage of soccer players who play abroad in all the Latin American teams participating in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Uruguay was the Latin American soccer team with the largest share of players who play outside their country of origin, with 91.3 percent, followed by Panama with 87 percent of the team being professional soccer players in foreign leagues.
