As of 2022, the vast majority of institutional investors surveyed stated they trusted the investor relations page which is located on all publicly listed company's websites as an informational source. This is in stark contrast to Tik Tok as only one percent of respondents noted this as a trustful platform.

The survey group comprised 250 institutional investors with $7.1T assets under management globally. 41 percent of respondents came from the U.S., 18 percent were from the U.K. Canada accounted for 10 percent, Germany made up 9 percent and 17 percent came from other locations.
