Government income from manganese in Ghana 2009-2021
In 2021, Ghana obtained revenue from manganese reaching 170.4 million U.S. dollars. This represented an increase compared to the previous year when nearly 142 million U.S. dollars were registered. Moreover, within the observed period, the lowest income obtained from the mineral was reached in 2009, at 64.86 million U.S. dollars. Overall, as of March 2022, the price of manganese in Ghana stood at 54.37 U.S. dollars per metric ton.
