Leading countries in the European film industry 2019, by number of feature films
In 2019, a total of 2,421 films were produced in Europe, of which around 1,900 were originated in the European Union. Within the European countries, the leading feature films producers were Italy, France, and Germany. The number of films produced by these three countries was between 237 and 312.
