Over the past decade, the number of movies produced in France has stayed relatively stable and has fluctuated just under the 300 mark. Despite the pandemic, which deeply impacted cinema attendance, a total of 340 feature films were produced in 2021 in France, its highest value yet over the period considered. As of 2022, that number slightly dropped.
