Occupancy rate of Indian upscale hotels FY 2016-2023

In financial year 2020, the occupancy rate in upscale hotels in India was about 67 percent. The occupancy rate was predicted to dip down to under 34 percent in financial year 2021, due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Nevertheless, the rates were expected to recover by 2023.
