
European Union CEF grant contribution for alternative fuel infrastructure 2020
As of December 2020, the European Union made the highest contribution for projects relating to electricity as an alternative fuel, reaching 280 million euros in investments. By contrast, combined electricity and liquefied petroleum projects received 63 million and one million euros from the EU. Overall, the EU's contribution to Connecting Europe Facility grants represented some 27.4 percent of the total estimated costs for the projects.
