Biodiesel import volume in Europe 2012-2022
European countries imported roughly 16.84 million metric tons of biodiesel in 2022. This was a slight increase compared to the previous year. Biodiesel is the most commonly sold biofuel type on the European motor fuel market. The 2022 import quantity translated into an estimated biodiesel import value of 35.3 billion U.S. dollars.
