EU: biofuel production 2021

The European Union's biofuel production amounted to some 236 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2021, down by 2,000 barrels of oil equivalent daily in comparison to the previous year. However, figures increased by 224 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day between 2000 and 2021, peaking at 243 thousand barrels of oil equivalent daily in 2019.
