Number of pneumonia cases in Peru 2022, by department
In 2022, Lima reported over 6,400 cases of pneumonia, the highest number of cases among Peruvian departments that year. Loreto ranked second, with 2,069 cases. That same year, more than 413,000 cases of other acute respiratory infections were reported in Peru.
