IG Group: revenue by financial asset 2022

Revenue from stock trading has been the segment that has seen the most growth for online trading platform IG Group between 2016 and 2022. From less than one million British pounds in the financial year of 2016, this figure increased to nearly 14 million British pounds in the financial year of 2020, then more than doubled to 39 million British pounds in 2021 and 2022. This value is dwarfed however by the 811.5 million British pounds of revenue the company derived from trading over the counter (OTC) derivatives in the financial year of 2022.
