Coal power production in the U.S. by utility 2019

PacifiCorp is the electric utility generating the greatest amount of coal power in the United States. In 2019, the utility which provides services in the Northwest of the country and the Rocky Mountains produced 32.7 terawatt hours of coal-fired electricity. It is also the largest U.S. utility using coal not committed to retire by 2030, with 30.1 terawatt hours worth of coal power expected to remain.
