Air passenger traffic number Philippines 2020-2021, by flight type
The volume of air passengers in the Philippines continued to decline further in 2021 compared to the previous year. From nearly seven million domestic air passengers in 2020, this figure dropped by 20 percent to 5.53 million passengers. On the other hand, the number of international air passengers fell by 65 percent to 2.19 million, from the previous year's 6.24 million passengers. Air passenger traffic was forecast to slightly recover in 2022 as the country lifts all quarantine measures for vaccinated travelers.
