According to a survey on e-wallet usage in Vietnam in 2021 by Decision Lab, familiarity with other payment methods was chosen by 47 percent of the respondents as the biggest barrier to using e-wallets. By comparison, around 25 percent of them did not use an e-wallet due to privacy and security concerns.
