Employment in the mining industry in Mozambique 2010-2019
The mining and quarrying industry employed nearly 71 thousand people in Mozambique as of 2019, according to the source's estimates. Since 2010, the number of working-age Mozambicans that during a specified period worked within the mining industry has been increasing. That year, around 48.7 thousand individuals had paid employment or were self-employed in mining.
