Africa: production of industrial minerals by country

Morocco was the main producer of industrial minerals in Africa as of 2019. Roughly 14 million metric tons of the items were produced in the country that year. Tunisia produced around four million metric tons of industrial minerals, while South Africa and Egypt each registered an output of some 3.4 million metric tons.
