Travel intentions of Italians in the next six months 2023, by destination
According to a September 2023 study focusing on the travel intentions of Italians, 33 percent of respondents stated that they were planning to travel domestically over the following six months. Meanwhile, roughly 53 percent of the sample intended to take an outbound trip to a neighboring or non-neighboring European destination. By contrast, only seven percent of the surveyed Italians planned a trip outside Europe as of September 2023.
