Established Business Ownership (EBO) rate in Africa 2021, by country
The Established Business Ownership Rate (EBO) in Togo stood at 17.8 percent in 2020, the highest among the selected African countries surveyed between 2020 and 2021. The indicator refers to the share of people aged 18 to 64 years who own a business that is more than 3.5 years old. The second-highest rate was registered in Burkina Faso, where around 12 percent of the adult population owned an established business as of 2020.
