Russia: labor force participation by gender 2021

Approximately 55 percent of Russian women and 70 percent of men aged 15 years and above were economically active in 2021. Both female and male labor force participation rates saw a slight increase from the previous year. Over the period under consideration, the share of women that were part of the labor force peaked at nearly 56.3 percent in 2011.
