Quarterly electricity production in Nigeria 2020-2021
In the fourth quarter of 2021, over 9,000 gigawatt hours of electricity were generated in Nigeria, increasing from the roughly 8,700 gigawatt hours produced in the previous quarter. In comparison to the fourth quarter of 2020, the amount of energy produced decreased. In that period, an electricity output of around 9,670 gigawatt hours was registered. Considering the period reviewed, Nigeria's electrical energy production peaked in the first quarter of 2021 at approximately 9,720 gigawatt hours.
