Export value of cobalt oxides and hydroxides worldwide in 2021, by country
The Democratic Republic of the Congo is the world's leading exporter country of cobalt, in the form of cobalt oxides and hydroxides as well as commercial cobalt oxides. In 2021, the African country exported over 410.99 thousand metric tons of the metal, with a value of approximately 5.71 billion U.S. dollars. Ranking second was China, which exported some 260.87 million U.S. dollars of cobalt.
