In terms of distribution channels, drugstore retail accounted for 90 percent of the total pharmaceutical market sales in the Philippines as of September 2021. This was compared to a six percent share of sales from private hospitals and four percent sales share from government hospitals. The country's pharma market sales had been gradually increasing in recent years.
