Share of plastic waste caused by food delivery during COVID-19 Thailand 2020
According to a survey conducted in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand, the survey result revealed that seasoning sachets and plastic bags both accounted for the largest share of plastic waste generating from food delivery, at 16 percent each. The same survey also showed that there were around 21.4 thousand pieces of plastic waste that came with food delivery, or an average of 11 pieces per person each time.
